Dr Brad Moore (Chiropractor) was born and raised in Adelaide. He was keen on sports, particularly football, and played at a high level until he tore his hamstring while in his teens. To his frustration, the injury just didn’t seem to settle, making it hard to maintain his sporting fitness. Eventually, one of his mates suggested Brad went to see a Chiropractor to see if an adjustment to his lower back or pelvis might help. It did. It helped a lot. And it also sparked Brad’s interest in becoming a Chiropractor.
After gaining a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in Sydney, the newly accredited Dr Brad Moore moved back to Adelaide and opened his practice. Eleven years later, that became Active Health Co.
Outside of Active Heath Co, Brad is married to a Physiotherapist and has a young son. Brad keeps active with cycling and longer distance running, completing a Marathon and Ultramarathon. Weekends involve family time, friends and a few beers whilst watching the footy.
Josh graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours.
He enjoys treating all types of conditions, from sports injuries to chronic pain that won’t go away. Through a combination of hands-on treatment, exercises and helpful tips for reducing pain throughout the day, Josh will endeavour to help you get back to feeling your best.
When he’s not caring for his clients, Josh is playing local AFL and loves watching a wide variety of sports including footy, cricket and Formula One.
His love of sports is what got Josh into becoming a physio, so he can live his passion of helping people get back to their full potential and living well.
Hi I’m Ebony! I am so excited to meet you and collaboratively work together to help improve your quality of life through Remedial Massage Therapy.
For the last decade I have worked within the beauty industry, predominantly in day spas where my passion for massage and its healing effects on the human body developed. This fascination lead me to completing my diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy.
I provide a unique treatment that incorporates a touch of relaxation, as I believe calming the mind and nervous system is as important as treating the muscles themselves.
However, don’t let “relaxation” mislead you; getting stuck into those stubborn knots in your shoulders is as satisfying for me as it is for you.
There is nothing more rewarding than helping people improve their quality of life; whether through increasing range of motion, relieving muscle aches and pains, supporting injury recovery, alleviating headaches or just providing an experience that helps you decompress from the stresses of life.
Every human body tells a different story, so it’s important for me to provide a tailored approach in order to help treat your individual needs.
Aside from massage, I would consider myself a foodie and find so much joy being in the kitchen, nourishing my body with delicious produce alongside a glass of vino (or two). I love fine dining, good coffee, live music and spending time with my beautiful border collie, Lila.
